Watermelon with Lemon
07.22.2019 | GlacialPure | GlacialPure Blog

A juicy ripe watermelon is another synonym for coolness. As the same as the lemon, refreshing us from the hot of this summer. I do believe that ice watermelon is the favorite of most families in summer. In my opinion, summer is ice watermelon, WiFi, air conditioning. Wouldn’t you Guys agree?

I must admit the inspiration for making this drink came from my daughter Cherry who is a watermelon lover. I decided to make this blog to make a beverage for those who love watermelons, too. I set out to make a beverage they’d enjoy! 😀

This Watermelon Lemonade requires only 3 ingredients for an easy refreshing summer beverage. Perfect to serve when hanging out on a hot summer afternoon with family or friends (Gluten Free & Refined Sugar-Free).

It can be said that this is a healthy home-made drink that kids love. Of course, adults will like it too.

Watermelon can cool down in summer, and friends with poor immunity can eat more watermelon in summer.

Watermelon is rich in lycopene, which is a strong antioxidant, which is good for the health of the immune system and reduces the incidence of colds.

However, if the stomach is not good, it is best not to eat frozen watermelon in the refrigerator.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 5 cups cubed watermelon
  • 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice - about 2 lemons
  • 3 tbsp. honey
  • 4 cups water

Tips: The quality of the water will directly affect the taste of the drink.

(So I think you might need a refrigerator water filter, if you want to see, please click here)

Instructions:

  1. Cut watermelon into small cubes and place in high speed blender.
  2. Add lemon juice and pulse until smooth.
  3. Add water & honey and combine again.
  4. Pour in pitcher or glass mason jars and store in fridge.
  5. Allow to chill at least and hour and serve over ice.

Notes:

Can garnish with lemon slices & watermelon stars

You may need to do the lemonade in two separate batches depending on the size of your blender.
